I love to create.

With both painting and tattooing, my work is inspired by nature and flow. I’m drawn to floral themes and the interplay of geometric shapes, movement, and color.

I don’t have a favorite between tattooing and painting—both are art. I enjoy going back and forth between the two mediums and experiencing the overlaps that tattooing and painting share. Both tattooing and painting are extensions of the same creative energy. The time I spend painting informs the way I think and approach all art. Each medium strengthens the other.

I create compositional rhythms, often combining flowers and nature-inspired imagery mixed with geometric shapes and atmospheric space. I consider my process to be an Active Meditation. My paintings are inspired by nature and the comingling of abstract elements and movement between layers. Each piece begins with observation and evolves into a more internal exploration.

How I approach tattooing is similar to painting. Revisiting, developing, and defining through multiple sessions allows me to build the tattoo in layers and fine-tune the composition. Both processes rely on gradual refinement and responding to what's needed.

The Bloom Project- The process is the project. Many of the people I tattoo have work that is 15-20 years old. What started as shoulder cap sets for some grew to full sleeves and beyond. The tattoos evolve with those wearing them. Having a chance to revisit the work and make adjustments through the years is the process, much like a flower unfolding.
